  • Health and fitness data: The Flohaus Pilates Android App supports an optional integration with Android Health Connect. If you connect your health data and grant the required permissions, the App reads heart rate and active calories burned from Health Connect to display workout metrics associated with completed classes, including reservation details, reservation history, and the statistics page.

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you when you create an account, book classes, purchase memberships, make payments, or contact us. We may also receive information through service providers, including Mariana Tek for studio management, scheduling, bookings, and memberships; Squarespace for website hosting; and payment processors.

For the optional Health Connect integration, the App reads heart rate and active calorie data directly from Health Connect on your device, subject to the permissions you grant. This data is processed on your device to display workout metrics to you.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to manage accounts, bookings, memberships, payments, and attendance; provide customer support; send service-related and permitted marketing communications; maintain and improve our Services; prevent fraud; protect our business; and comply with legal obligations.

Health and fitness data: Heart rate and active calorie data accessed through Health Connect is used solely to display workout metrics to you within the App. The data is read on your device, displayed to you, and then discarded. It is not transmitted to Mariana Tek or Flohaus, and Flohaus studio staff cannot access it. We do not use this Health Connect data for advertising or marketing.

4. Health Connect and Health Data

The Flohaus Pilates Android App includes an optional Health Connect integration that enables users to view wearable workout metrics associated with completed classes.

  • Data accessed: Heart rate and active calories, with your permission.

  • Purpose: To display workout metrics in reservation details, reservation history, and the statistics page.

  • Processing and storage: Data is read directly from Health Connect on your device, displayed to you, and then discarded. Flohaus does not receive or retain this data through the integration.

  • Sharing: This data is not transmitted to Flohaus or Mariana Tek, is not shared by Flohaus with third parties, and is not sold or used for advertising.

  • Your control: The integration is optional. You can grant, manage, or revoke Health Connect permissions through your Android device settings.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to support functionality, remember preferences, understand website usage, and measure promotions. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

6. How We Share Information

We may share personal information with trusted service providers, including Mariana Tek for studio management and bookings, Squarespace for website hosting, payment processors, and other technology or customer support providers where applicable.

We do not sell personal information. Health data accessed through the optional Health Connect integration is not transmitted to Flohaus or Mariana Tek and is not used for advertising.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Health data accessed through Health Connect is processed on your device, displayed to you, and then discarded. Flohaus does not receive or retain this data through the integration.
